I'm usually ruthless with label reading [I prefer my foods to not need one] but I've read good things about getting essential aminos into your diet.
So I bought this:http://goo.gl/Tr8Zs - and then read the label. It has an impressive AA list and the big three, but the ingredients are: Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein (soya, maize), Purified Water.
Argh! Soya and maize. This I assume, is destined for the bin.
In which case - what are the best food sources of BCAAs or should I just take my paleo worrying hat off?
