Hey folks,
Could anyone please tell me which blood tests Robb Wolf recommends in his book? And what good numbers for each would be? Thanks!

Interleukin 6 is probably a better measure of inflammation and Robb has said so during his podcasts. |

Sorry, guys, but this is one area that Robb is very slippery on. He does indeed list the TC of 120-140, but has also explained on this podcast that much, much higher TC is also okay..... if certain conditions are met. The guy is brilliant, but he's fast and loose in this one area. |

From the book The basics: Total Cholesterol HDL LDL Triglycerides Fasting glucose Add-ons LDL particle side Glycated hemoglobin (called Hba1c or just A1C) C-reactive protein My take I think that c-reactive protein is a must, it is strongly predictive of nearly every degenerative disease. I also go donate blood when I can and they tell me my hemoglobin and blood pressure, those can be important as well. |
