Ditto to the freezer full of grassfed beef! I also live in the east end. I go to the orleans and landsdowne farmers market almost every week. I do lots of sprinting, gymnast rings, rock climbing and weight lifting

Hi New Paleo friends,

I am in Kanata and I would like to host a paleo evening once a month. My name is M-C and am a Nutrition Consultant. My idea is to get together in order to educate & support each other and to help newbies also.

After my first daughter was born I gained 65 pounds and I was also very sick with fibromyalgia. I have been off gluten for a long time. I recently got it all under control with the help of this lifestyle and finally lost that carb belly. Now I teach others the paleo lifestyle and I call my Info and Support sessions: Lose that Carb Belly!

Interested? Email me at info@lemonbliss.com

Attendance donation: $10 per night. It is my idea to find guest speakers that support this lifestyle, present studies and findings to the group.

I used to live in Ottawa up to 2 years ago. I found excellent Paleo-friendly products (bison, liver, etc) at Nature's Buzz in Vanier. It is good to see that I have Paleo friends if I ever go back!

We're in South Keys (me, husband, and baby on the way).

Looking for a source of grass-fed butter... any ideas? Looks like a road trip to the States may be in order...

Hey Meghan! If you ever head to TO, you can go to "Cheese Boutique" on Dundas St West and ask for grass fed butter. They get it locally made specifically for them. I still havent found anything in Ottawa... closest thing is Organic Meadow -- You can get it at most health food stores. They claim that their butter is ALMOST 100% grass-fed in the grass-growing season, but who knows. – Linds Apr 7 at 17:27
