I've noticed that even when I get the RDA of my B-vitamins via food, by the end of the day I'm in a really crappy mood. Irritated, aggressive, snappy--some days I think I could rip the head off of a bunny and drink its blood.
But these past couple of days I've noticed that when I take a B-Complex (B-100 to be specific) with my lunch, I don't experience the heavy mood swings during the latter half of the day. I actually feel like I'm on an even keel, aka "normal".
Can anyone explain this? If I'm getting enough B-vitamins from diet, why does a supplement have such a noticeably positive effect on my mood?
