Hi, First time questioner, long time hacker. I am looking for a book to give as a gift to a close friend who is a nutrition student. I am a 21 year old male who has been on paleo on and off for a while, with a caveat of an overseas holiday which im still trying to recover from (in terms of habit). Back to the question, what would be the best book to give to this girl in order to maybe at least change the way she thinks in regards to her science. Im a firm believer that the majority of the teachings are just regurgitated medical dogma and not necessarily correct in many regards. So basically looking for the best book to change her views a little, not necessarily convert her. Thanks!

Taubes Good Calories Bad Calories would help her see things properly. |

for the general public I'd say Robb Wolf 'The Paleo Solution', but for someone who wants a bit more details I'd suggest 'Perfect Health Diet' by Paul Jaminet. |
