So I understand that overeating leads to high cortisol, BUT when eating for a mass gain it's imperative to overeat...
I'm going through a mass gain, and I've been eating close to 3300 calories daily, everything is going well strength wise, but I don't want to get my cortisol too out of control. Especially since I'm in the middle of a crazy schedule at college, with a very un-paleo dining center.
5' 10 142 pounds
Breakfast 5 sausage patties or pieces of ham
Lunch Monster Salad with olive oil Beef
Dinner Sweet Potato Chicken Breast
Was drinking close to a gallon of milk for a couple days but I noticed an increase in Acne, so I've stopped dairy for good!
I have always been skinny and tried overeating to gain weight. Even after going Paleo, I still would eat in efforts to get bigger. What I'm realizing about myself is that it's probably not eating that is going to get that look I want. I'm 23, and I think I just need to hit more of those growth hormones to build muscle and size, because I can eat mountains of food for days and not gain a single pound. I have noticed that just not caring, and only eating when I'm hungry, is actually making me gain size! It's funny that all that time I cared so much about getting bigger, then once I stopped trying, I get it. I think girls that are fat actually eat the right amount and have a very healthy gut absorption system, and guys have a ruined system due to eating tons of pizza in order to gain weight! What a world.
