I've been seeing these ads for the super ripped older Dr. Jeff Life and of course it's rather head turning. Poking around on the site, this is all I could find on the diet without signing up:

"The focus is on prevention using low-glycemic nutrition, exercise, nutritional supplements and hormone optimization (when clinically indicated)."

Anyone know anything else about the diet?

www.cenegenics.com is the website.

read an interview with him in Life Extension Foundation's magazine about 4-5 months ago. He seemed very whole-foods and keep-it-simple. Didn't seem bad at all but he did not go into deets. – ben61820 Sep 9 2011 at 13:02

Jeff Life is a friend of mine. He eats a mediterrean diet. His diet has evolved as he has gotten older. I think if you read his book it's all there. My only disagreement with him is on his advocacy of whole grains. Other than that he is very paleo and his advice on andropause is among the best out there. I consider him a real expert in this area.

Is he really as ripped as the photo's show? My brain can't process the image of his head on his body. Also, did he do Bill Philips' Body for Life challenge at one point? – FED at LiveCaveman.com Sep 10 2011 at 0:59
Shredded at 72 years old. Yes he did and became champion in 1998 – The Quilt Sep 12 2011 at 15:09

I'm sure he eats well. But realistically, growth hormone. That is the "secret".
