I was thinking since i don't eat offal (it disgusts me) i should supplement vitamin A, and also how much vitamin D and k2 since i plan on supplementing those as well? BTW will this help with acne? Should i supplement with iodine(i don't do iodized salt) or anything else as well? I eat about 95% paleo(1-2 cheats a month) apart from butter/ghee and occasional white rice.

I can only help with part of that question, but here it goes! Recommended Vitamin D supplement amounts range from 2,000IU-5,000IU. Are you taking Fish Oil supplements? If not I would look into that. Iodine, yes, 250mcg over 500 up to 1000mcg over 1 month. Must be done with Selenium, 250mcg, use Brazil Nuts, 4 per day. 1 GOOD body building multi vitamin with 50mg B's and mixed A (retynol + beta caroten) and chelated minerals. On top of that, extra C (2-10g), D (2.5 - 5K IU), Mg (6mg/kg), DHA/EPA (0.5 - 1 g). I don't know much about acne, but I remember chinese healers call them angry liver sympthom. Maybe there is truth in that so try to clense yourself with some clay. Use CoQ10 (30-100mg, depending on age). Depending on how much eggs you eat you might want to add choline. |

Vitam A(retinol) supplementation cured my chronic acne. I also supp iodine, zinc, k2 mk-4 and magnesium. I take this daily- 10k iu vit A RDA iodine 400mg mag 25mg zinc 5mg k2 mk-4(only twice a week for this one) |

Standard dosing 5000 to 10k iu of vitamin A, a good vitamin K blend of k1,2,3 like ultra k or you could just use carlsons k2. And 5000 iu of d3 |
