I have been studying some dopamine/serotonin stuff lately as I keep rather quiet in the primal world gaining fat for fertility(my mind is a mess but thank you PHD) but anyways I would like to see some hacking at cordyceps. There are 2 kinds : Cordyceps militaris is a traditional herbal ingredient frequently used for tonic and medicinal purposes in eastern Asia, while, Cordyceps sinensis has been suggested to possess anti-tumor, immunostimulant and antioxidant activities. It seems cordyceps increase dopamine and noradrenaline (good or bad??)
According to this study http://www.springerlink.com/content/06161t16x2276q6g/ “Enhancement of tyrosine hydroxylase expression by Cordyceps militaris” cordyceps enhance tyrosine, which along with adequate iodine are the 2 necessary components to get thyroid going.
Also from this study : Using trace elements at lower doses, in combination with fungus have been ascribed as one of the potent ways to reduce trace elements-associated toxicity and maintain their effect . An important property of fungus is the ability to take up and accumulate trace metals such as cadmium, lead, arsenic, copper, nickel, silver, chromium, and mercury in the body or mycelium of the fungus
Wondering if anyone has experience with it or knows any details about it?
