I am very confused with what my body is doing on this diet. I have never been on a "diet" (beyond don't eat crap) before so I am new to this. I am following the high fat mod protein and low carb plan currently. I used fitday at first just to get a basic idea of proportions and I end up with 70% fat 20% protein and 10% carbs or less. I am 27, female, 5'4 and probably 220 or so. I dont really look it because I carry all the fat around the middle (WORST kind). I am trying to lose the belly and get healthy. I think my body was starting to lose its cool with the grains. It all of a sudden just couldn't do it anymore. I listened to the warnings. Digestive issues (cleared up right away with paleo), blood sugar crashes and all around crapola.
It has been about 2.5 weeks. I felt awesome at first then horrible and now I am kind of a weird medium. I find that while I seem to have endless energy for going on long walks (as In literally wandering around town ALL day - at least 4-7 hours) I am useless with any real exertion. Climbing stairs seems harder and any sort of actual exercise seems out of the question. My skin alternates from being rough to super soft. My appetite is bizarre! Sometimes I will wake up and eat 8 eggs! and others I wont eat until much later in the day.
I used to eat tons of veggies and loved them.. now I seem to have lost the taste for them. My body does not seem to like them wtf. The only green things I actually enjoy eating now are occasional bits of parsley, radishes (both pungent peppery things), green onions, spicy peppers and salsa with tons of cilantro. They are almost a condiment now. I do love to eat at least 1/2 an avocado a day sometimes a whole one. Those taste awesome and I do not limit them. I also eat a small amount of coconut and use the oil the cook meat in when I do make it.
I really only eat meat occasionally and have to force myself. I eat LESS meat than when I was on SAD. It consists of high quality grass fed ground beef made into a mock nacho type thing using celery as chips (quite good I might add) or homemade beef jerky.
As for fish the first week I wanted tons of it then just "didnt" anymore. I feel a craving again and will probably make more soon though.
And the Eggs... what is the deal with the EGGS!! Thats all I seem to want anymore. I will make some in the am then a few later in the day. That may be the only animal product I eat all day other than cheese!
I do eat cheese.. a fair amount of it. Mostly it is because I am pmsing and I have always chomped down on cheese during that time. Probably need the calcium shrugs.
Odds and ends- seaweed for minerals, going to make eggshell vinegar for the calcium, KCL instead of salt for potassium (was getting cramps), calm magnesium tea, and I take a liquid whole RAW food multi with no preservatives (other than apple cider vinegar). - garden of life vitamin code - multi
Is it possible I am getting my nutrition from the supplements so I don't need veggies anymore? I don't get it I used to LOVE them. And will that weird sudo energy thing go away? Or without anything in my glycogen stores am I doomed to feel that way?
*ps the non muscle meat is going to have to wait. I just cant stomach it yet.

Thank you all for your responses!! I wanted to add that I have been really thinking about what my body is telling me. I walked through the produce section at the grocery store to see what I was drawn too. Kinda wierd I know but shrugs. I realized that I do not want any of the "usual" veggies. However the squashes were utterly calling my name. They are in season and just seem "right" to eat. I hope that it will be ok on my 50g or less carb. It should be as long as I do not overdo it. I know it wasnt craving carbs as I walked right past all the berries, potatoes and other high carb/sugar stuff. I am really starting to think eating this way awakens our primal instincts. I also know my native American ancestors ate squash regularly as well as berries. Those are the only two carbs I have craved (berries when it was hot). So weird.. ok that and grapefruit but that was just random.
