The Jewish Holiday, Yom Kippur is coming up soon. The holiday calls for a 25 hour fast from evening to evening. I have been playing around with doing some small fasts and am enjoying doing them. I have yet to do a fast as long as 25 hours since going paleo.
What meal would you recommend for the dinner before the fast? I'm assuming something high-fat, medium-protein low-carb but I could be wrong...
What about the whole day before the fast? I was told to drink a lot of water so I would be hydrated during the fast. What about for food, should I overeat, under eat, or eat my average amount?
How do you prepare for your long fasts?
