@jeff, it depends. What are the units of your result, and what is the normal range for your lab?
Lp(a) cholesterol is considered to be a more reliable indicator of coronary risk than Lp(a) mass, in part due to variations in laboratories and assays. In this study lipoprotein (a) cholesterol, but not lipoprotein (a) mass, was associated with cardiovascular disease and cardiovascular events.
