Several threads have suggested upping fat intake to help reduce cravings, and to feel more satisfied. What are the best sources of good fats when having a hankering for more food (especially non-paleo food)?
Greek yogurt is my staple.

Eat some more bacon. Or do what they do in Germany and use bacon fat (schmaltz) as a topping, like butter. Butter your cheese, like they do in France. Since whole milk cheese is already 50% fat, it's like piling on. Duck fat and goose fat are good too, and relatively high in monounsaturated fats, so possibly healthier than fully saturated fats like butter. |

Marrow is my bacon :) I am trying to discover new ways of using marrow. Usually i just roast one or two bones and include marrow on top of steaks, liver etc. Sometimes with mushrooms. Used even once with salmon, not bad btw :) |

If like us you go in for a little dairy here n there then, cheese, butter's, real greek yoghurt, but also coconut oil is good. But of course perhaps the best option is to go for fattier cuts of meat for your main meals. A family favourite in our house is Belly Pork cooked till the fat is crispy...mmmmmm! |
