does anyone have experience with molecular iodine? a couple of abstracts i've read (i'll put up links later) say that iodine has shown promise as a preventitive/treatment for breast cancer, but that molecular iodine is the superior form. i don't think it is commercially availabe, but one source said a compounding pharmacy might be able to supply it.

I'd love to know where molecular iodine comes from. I take iodoral currently, but have cut back recently and am eating seaweed to make up for it. Sounds like it might not be found in food. – wood Mar 20 2011 at 5:52

Eating seaweed might be OK but it is my understanding it absorbs the Heavy metals and Chemicals.

That might be why thyroid and Hashi's still exist in Japan even though they consume more than 12 Mg of Iodine.

Just a thought.
