I am 32 and have recently been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. My symptoms have been gradually increasing all summer long, reaching the point where I didn't feel like I could be active at all two weeks ago. My acupuncturist suggested I look into Paleo, and in the last two weeks, my pain and inflammation have drastically improved. I was able to go on a three mile hike on Saturday! I'm still having some pain and stiffness a few days per week, and I had a horrible flare last week, but overall, I feel better than I have in 8 or 9 months.
I'm attempting a Whole30 Immuno Challenge, but I'm still eating eggs, because my wife just bought a dozen duck eggs, and she was worried they'd go to waste. Anyway, my question:
If you have been dealing with Autoimmune Disorders, to what level have your symptoms improved and how long have they been improving?
What are the foods that you find trigger inflammation for you?
