From personal experience, I cannot tolerate high levels of fat due to my IBS. Have to stick to 40% ~ 50% daily intake from fat, any more and my diarrhea flares up and becomes unpredictable and annoying!

Your own tolerance to certain kinds of fats have to be experimented with I'm afraid. For example, I tolerate coconut oil extremely well, while it gives others the runs. Too much lamb fat also irritates my gut. Keep a fat journal for a couple of weeks :)

I also recommend the use of NOW digestive enzymes, they have helped my IBS a lot.

Have you tried getting a digestive enzyme? I have IBS-D, but I can eat fat.
