Fellow Paleo Hacker David Csonka and I were getting our asses kicked by Erwan Le Corre in the wilds of West Virginia. Sadly, that means I didn't get to do the worldwide meetup...how did they go?

Seattle was fantastic! Great new friends, sharing new ideas and having fun around the table. We already have another one on the books for August that will include a meal, a hike and kayaking on a local lake. Alot of conversation about how and why paleo, as well as finding resources that don't deplete the bank account. Online recipe sharing has begun!!!

I think there were 10 of us - lots of delicious food and great (but very hot) weather! Looking forward to the next one! – Marisa Jul 11 2010 at 23:54
Sorry I missed it! I couldn't find you guys, though I wandered around Golden Gardens... – Paleolady Jul 12 2010 at 19:33

The DC Meet-up was... ok. Three of us got together at a local restaurant. I think the upside is... growth potential!

Beaverton, Oregon MeetUp was fun! We had 12 people and a local rancher who raises grass-fed beef. I agree, definite growth potential.

Norcal Paleo had its second meetup yesterday (July 10th) which turned out really well. A bunch of new faces, great conversations.

San Diego now has a meetup. I guess we did't know about the July 8th thing in time, but the first ever meetup is coming up shortly. Locals please come on down!: http://www.meetup.com/San-Diego-Paleo-Tribe/ -Eva

I know a couple of people who follow paleo/crossfit, but none of them were willing to meet up. But hey, I live Montgomery, AL; I didn't really expect anyone anyhow.
