I've been experimenting with Coconut and Almond milks but they all seem to have additives, which includes gums. If you drink these, then what brand do you buy and where do you buy it?

Split between homemade from shredded coconut (either Let's Do Organic or Bob's Red Mill, whichever is cheaper on amazon at the time I place the order), and Golden Star Coconut Milk. This is from WalMart, so I'm sure it kills puppies and kittens in some way, but it is inexpensive and the ingredient list is just coconut and water. |

I drink raw milk from my farmer in the next town. I do cook with Thai Kitchen coconut milk, but I don't drink it straight. |

I drink regular old milk from Germany, it's in a glass bottle non-homogenized and gently pasteurized and grass fed. 1-2 liters a day straight down the hatch. |

Raw milk from Jerseys cows. I've only recently introduced this post workout, just to see how it goes - seems to be going very well so far. |

To make my matsoni yogurt I use low-temp pasteurized milk from the store, heated to 60 C for 30 minutes. For occasional straight consumption I purchase actual raw milk from a producer in Hokkaido. Very very delicious but that's a luxury item since it costs 1,050 yen for 720 ml. That's like buying a $13 bottle of wine. At current exchange rates that comes out to about $72/gallon, so don't complain to me about prices at Whole Foods! I wish I could get things at Whole Food prices. So I only get a couple bottles every couple of weeks. Comes in a glass bottle too. |

Raw milk from a local farmerwith Jersey cows. I drink less than 8 oz. a day. I drink some fresh, some I ferment into kefir. 1 can of cocnut milk a week, usually in coffee. Commercial almond milk is disgustion and has minimal nutrition in my opinion. |

Thai Kitchen Coconut Milk. Adding a few tablespoons will make scrambled eggs so fluffy! |

I will drink ALL the milk! Raw milk from somewhat local Jerseys; local, grassfed, vat-pasteurized cream; occasionally almond milk; coconut milk in cooking or the random dessert concoction...I am an equal opportunity milk/"milk" drinker. |

Yum! I add a little whipping cream to my scrambled eggs...probably not the healthiest choice but it sure is good! As far as milk goes...I'm a big fan of almond milk or just plain 1% :) |

Raw milk from hillacreas pride in peachbottom, Pa. Jersey- almost yellow in color (almost) taste like nothing you ever drank. Don't drink much as it is tough to get and use mostly during strength training months. Other then that- none, but I love real cheeses. |

Would kefir count as milk? Just a small amount a day. Plus, a glass of coconut milk every other day with dinner. |

I have been drinking goat milk Kefir, post workout. It's pasteurized and it's been decent. However, I've gotten in touch with a cowshare program (Raw Milk sales are illegal in Canada) and may start getting Raw Guernsey Milk. Excited!! |
