How many people are on nothing? No meds, no supplements, no nothing that is processed in the least bit. And do you find you feel better with all natural things in the diet, or do you feel better with some man processed medication/supplements?

I take birth control and also a daily med for chronic pain. I'm hoping that the longer I'm doing paleo I can get off the pain stuff. That's my goal anyway! :) As for supplements, since going paleo I stopped taking a lot of what I had been. Now I'm only supplementing with fish oil, 5-htp for depression and then calcium/magnesium. |

I don't take any medications and am not a big supplement person either, but I do take fermented cod liver oil (just 2 capsules per day). It does seem to help with my mood, but that could just be a placebo effect, I suppose. |

I take one prescription pill and one Claritin daily. I'm hoping to need the Claritin less after getting things back in order. I do take a Rainbow Light womans vitamin daily, Vit D, and some fish oil when I remember to. |

whoever posted this question is a genius. Why don't more people post the crucial questions that actually matter and help us move forward about how health really does matter. Anyway, I'm on nothing but just meat, veggies, and fruit. No meds, no supplements, no coffee. It's a good feeling knowing what you are with minimal amounts of stuff going into your body. Gives you a sense of who, and what you really are, and helps you with everything! |

I don't take any supplements, but I never have, so I don't really have anything to compare it to. I do occasionally take Advil for recurring headaches. I'm in the process of logging food/triggers/weather/etc. to try and figure out the cause of said headaches. I have taken Advil so consistently before that it actually caused rebound headaches, so I only take it when absolutely necessary (necessary from my viewpoint anyway). I recently (2 months ago) stopped using hormonal BC. Almost immediately I noticed an increase in sex drive. Unfortunately, I've had other less-desired side-effects as well (heavier bleeding, more intense cramping, lower back pain, and a few crazy mood swings). I'm hoping that over time my hormones adjust and some of the bad effects dissipate. Even if they don't, I'm glad I'm no longer screwing up my hormone levels on purpose. 8) |

Aside from the occasional aspirin and topical vitamen E I'm all natural, no soap, no shampoo, brush my teeth with salt, occasinally I'll wash with some sodium bicarbonate usually on the feet and face and wipe with seashells. |
