Example if I have a scab from a blemish and I do a scrub with washcloth the blemish seems to bleed longer than ore paleo. Could it be that I am missing something or overdoing something? Vitamin or mineral? I only take d3 when I can't get outside and walk and have only taken co q 10 a handful of times

Even if you're not supplementing them, dietary omega 3 fats thin the blood and inhibit clotting. |

Are you supplementing Vitamin E? Vitamin E is a blood thinner. Too much would cause a similar problem. |

If you choose to supplement with K, make sure it is K2 and is in a high enough dose. A high enough dose is likely 1mg or so. A lot of the products are in micrograms and/or are K1, which just isn't the same. I take 5mg, but I think it would likely be better to take lower doses spread throughout the day, since it is only active for about 4hrs or so. There doesn't seem to be a downside, except if you give blood- the process will be slower. |
