A big part of Paleo is you eat Paleo, you can stop trying so hard in life and just succeed. |

For those that need it: 'animal' = instinctual, without guilt, as Nature intended, in harmony & balance with the World. |

1 it's more what I don't eat rather than do eat - grains, legumes, seed oils, starch in general 2 Basing my diet on healthy protein and fat like home grown eggs, wild game and grass fed animals. (This includes cleaning and prepping our animals and using as much of the animal including offal as possible). 3 Performing inteval exercise rather than long cardio type exercise. 4 Getting sun and/or outdoor time (in WA being outside does not mean sun necessarily). 5 Sleeping or getting into bed (calm down Aravind) at 9 pm and making my kids stay down till 7 am. 6 Playing with my kids. 7 Having a hobby that expands my horizons like reading extensively, learning guitar (I am trying to do this via YouTube right now - seriously) or drawing as a meditation. 8 Fasting - I am starting to believe that concerted "non-eating" time is critical to hormonal harmony. 9 Targeted supplementation since our modern crops and soils are depleted. 10 Laughing - a lot. |

I believe our bodies and minds are ALWAYS correct in their adaptations to current internal and external stresses. All disease states are simply a physiological adaptive state to the previous and current stresses. To effect our health we must change the STRESSES that have produced this adaptive state rather than attempting to interfere with the bodies appropriate responses to such. There is a small percent of genetic disease that does not conform to this (not genetic "predisposition"....only actual hard wired genetic disease like Down's Syndrome). This is not paleo per say but is my health paradigm. And eating paleo absolutely is aimed at rectifying dietary stressors. A vital part of the health puzzle. |

To quote Steve Jobs - "Focus and simplify" EDIT - My list is not rank ordered, nor is it the "be all, end all". It's just a list of ten things, that's all |

Some of mine are pretty similar to Andreas, but I'll list them anyway:

1 - (Chris Kessler, I think) "If it has a bag or a box, it's probably not Primal/Paleo." 2 - Listen to your body |

Hmm. I don't think you need ten. Paleo is pretty simple. Let's see. I live mostly by this:
Wow. I did have ten :-) |
