Hey Hackers--Our family is attending an annual football game watch where our friends host (bigger family room) and we bring the grub. This is our first year going Paleo and could use some recs for dishes to bring that are family, football, and Paleo-friendly. Thanks!

Really? No one's suggested chili yet?

I made some chili this weekend, ground beef, and diced sirloin. With the texture difference between the meats, no body even mentioned the lack of beans. – Erik of Rockford Oct 26 2011 at 12:21
Chili does sound awesome, but a little messy with the kid factor. I would totally whip up a batch if we were hosting, but since I'm bringing the goods to a friend's house, I'm a little more concerned about spills and such. :) – brigita Oct 26 2011 at 13:49

Wow that seems tough - especially if it doesn't involve dairy. Maybe sausage or ground beef stuffed jalapenos and roasted, chicken lettuce wraps, for something sweet, pecans stuffed into pitted dates, fruit salad.

Mmm...lettuce wraps sound fab! Anyone have any favorite recipes? Thx! – brigita Oct 26 2011 at 21:50

Ooh, deviled eggs. Super yum. – brigita Oct 26 2011 at 21:50

Broiled chicken wings with your choice of sauce is a good one. That's been my go-to this season. Just make sure your wings are completely dry before broiling them to get the crispiest skin.
