I have been Paleo for 6 months now, and have had no weight loss. I am an active Crossfitter (5-6 days a week of activity) so I know that while my BF has dropped, my weight has increased because of muscle. I have tried eating NC and VLC to no avail, and have proceeded to go LC(probably around 100 g. daily) and within a few days I feel better and have been working out better and I feel as if maybe this increased carb intake will allow my to start dropping BF (Im around 20 and would like to get to 12-15%) is this because my body is able to recover after my Crossfit workouts, or is my body just reacting to a change in diet? I really do not mind if I dont lose weight, I would just like to continue to cut BF(I would be content at 160 if that meant I was super lean)...as I asked in my last question, is stressing over my macro intakes causing more harm than good when it comes to fat loss?
I am 19, 5'6" and approximately 155-156 lbs. While many consider 20% to be low BF, I still LOOK as if I am at 30%...what are your opinions on carbs (nuts, berries, sweet potatoes, veggies) and keeping the macro ratios more even across the board. How would eating whatever I want...(normal daily intake ends up somthing like this: Espresso and cream with eggs and bacon for breakfast, nuts and fruit post workout (a decent serving), and a piece of meat with veggies)...negatively/positively effect fat loss if I am not stressing over my consumption?
Thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions? I keep breaking through my plateau only to revese again after a week or two because something still isnt right...

I'd maybe cut the espresso and cream. Take cold showers instead of the espresso, and try using cacao powder in recipes.
Make sure you aren't eating any grains.
Start using and consuming extra virgin coconut oil. If you replaced that for all your other oils, you could lose up to 30lbs in a year. I've heard that from a guy named Magnus Mulliner.
Make sure you are getting restful sleep (like 10pm-6pm) if possible.
You could also start juicing. Watch "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead".
I'm no expert, but those are my two cents. I'm sure there are others on here that are way more educated in the area of weight, BF, etc...

Try cutting your carbs and choose to only take them in post workout. You're delaying your fat burning process by taking in 100+ carbs daily. Remember "a carb is a carb is a fucking carb", you cannot forget about that going forward.
I weigh stand at 6'4 and weigh over 240 pounds at 7% BF (as of today) and I only take in about 30-40 grams of carbs a day. A large majority of that come from my post workout shake, and the rest comes from nuts and such (not to many fruits if you want to cut fat).
@Mark I love, love, love Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. The movie has changed my life. Michelle, you might want to look into intermittent fasting or even trying a 3 or 7 day juice fast to kick start your fat burning into hyperdrive, never know.. it might do you wonders.
That's all I have. Always remember though, Rome wasn't built in a day... You've reversed a lifetime of bad eating habits, now you just have to be patient. Know that your health is the main reason you're doing this and that everything else after that is just gravy (paleo gravy that is).
Have you tried intermittent fasting? I found IF + CrossFit + paleo/very low carb to be golden for shedding body fat, getting in shape, and increasing performance.
I lifted weights for years and packed on the pounds with extra helpings of the Standard American Diet. Three years ago I started doing the above and lost 65 pounds (from 220 to 155). I'm 51 years old, have never been in better shape and am still bagging PRs in metcons and lifts.
Give IF a try and if you like it, try doing your WODs fasted. I almost always do and have rarely experienced a poor workout because of it (and that is usually because of a lengthy 20+-hr fast).
I would look at blood type and get a specific genotype from Peter D'Adamo. Get more refined and specific about your food, don't just follow "one size fits all Paleo". From there further finesse your exercise and conisder intermittent fasting. If you still look heavy at that body fat % maybe it's just your body type, something else to consider.
I second Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead, and a little less Crossfit, and incorporating the Warrior Diet. I fast (water and coffee only) from dinner until dinner the next night, and while trying to keep the meal(s) clean get to eat almost as much as I want. I used the WD several years ago and was as close to being ripped as I ever have been (now 39 years old). I guess I got used to being fit that I took it for granted and slipped back into my old ways and gained 10-15 lbs over the next 4 or 5 years. I just restarted WD a week or two ago and already feel leaner.
