I like to get a gourmet ciabatta roll once in a while made from "low-protein flour." Yay or nay?

Yay. Unless you have allergies or other issues you can probably eat anything “once in a while” without too much worry. I try to be fairly strict at home so when I do go to a restaurant or somebody’s house I have more room to maneuver. |

Yay. My last guilty pleasure was a two week binge on drugs and nutella, so your thing is pretty healthy by comparison. |

Yay. I think if you've got solid health and good digestion, eating bread every once in a while isn't going to do any lasting damage. However, if you know this is a trigger food (just makes you want more and more) or if you get headaches, stomach aches, or skin issues after eating it, then it's a nay. |

I think it totally depends on your body's response. If you don't notice an adverse reaction, then I would say just fully give yourself permission to enjoy it once in a while sans the side of guilt. If, however, you do have a reaction to the gluten, you'll just need to weigh it out for yourself if a yummy but fleeting taste in your mouth is worth it...but I would still say do it without the guilt or not at all. |

Since it's a 'cheat', it's obviously a nay to begin with. But if it's something that you enjoy sparingly, it's not going to be that big of a deal as long as you're healthy |

For me, a big 'nay,' but then, my cheats are almost exclusively fresh fruit. |
