Ok, getting my kid to eat bone broth....bottom line this works. I can throw two ice cubes worth into some either homemade or organic carrot or grape juice and he'll put it down like nothing. He won't eat it or drink it any other way. Any reasons not to use cold broth mixed in this manner? Any reason its better heated? Working on healing gut...still good?

very sweet, me and my wife will continue to work on it....:) – JayJay Nov 5 2011 at 1:19
I really was hoping this was not a very controversial or in any way detrimental approach, and I will take the lack of response as affirming that. – JayJay Nov 5 2011 at 1:21
You can probably even make "Finger Broth" similar to Finger Jello. – AdrianaG Nov 5 2011 at 1:21
I agree with Nance for sure, that's a smooth way to get it in your kid. Oh man, and playing off of Adriana G, you could mold in popsicle molds. Incorporate the broth into a veg/fruit juice blend and make rocket pops :) – jesuisjuba - paleorepublic.com Nov 5 2011 at 11:53

Sounds good! I take collagen supplements in orange juice.

One thing to note is that OJ and gelatin can sometimes be harsh on the tummy. No idea why but both some people I know and myself have had that experience.
