Paleo for Life is working on ways to promote the benefits of Paleo lifestyles to the public. One idea is the concept of PaleoQ, a single health score computed using the results of common lab tests. The idea is to have a single number for people to assess the benefits of a Paleo diet, do before/after comparisons, etc.
Is this something useful in promoting the "Paleo = Healthy" message? Any suggestions on making it better for promoting the Paleo lifestyle?
While this tool may work for those in their 40s or older who've been getting blood work done on a regular basis, many young adults these days don't do so yet. Many haven't ever had their blood checked! Going to the doctor and getting these numbers might also be a stretch for our budgets. For those of us for whom it's difficult to get our numbers, it might be more successful to have another measurement of health.
