Hi guys! I am relatively new to your ranks, very much enjoying the paleo diet so far. Have already dropped 1 1/2 pants sizes, feeling much more energetic, making positive life changes. 25 female, sedentary (desk work) with HIIT (crossfit) 1x week.
However, I keep having random small attacks of nausea sometimes when eating or after eating. They are very sudden, and last perhaps 10-15 minutes, then are gone. They are happening pretty regularly after each meal. I have been making sure to keep my meals appropriately-sized (eat until satiated, not overeating, not undereating) and have been doing three meals a day. Meal examples:
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 rashers bacon, butter sauteed zucchini, sometimes 1/2 avocado (depending on hunger.)
Lunch: 6 oz pork tenderloin, large serving of steamed broccoli.
Mid-afternoon snack (if needed): 1/2 avocado or 2 hard boiled eggs.
Dinner: 6-8 oz meat, large serving veggies of some sort.
Dessert (if needed): handful of strawberries or blackberries.
I allow myself small cheats, such as a tiny bit of honey and cream in my tea once a day or so, the occasional glass of wine with dinner every few days. I know, I know, stick to the 30 days. I'm planning on re-starting on Sunday and going strict for 30 days solid.
Why the nausea? Halp!
