If sugar is bad… Why is fruit ok, even in moderation?

Love the paleo way of eating, but keeping away from fruit due to the high carbs and fructose content. Being that im a huge fan of oranges, and that i used to eat up to 10 a day, i am missing them heaps, and craving an orange, or 5 or 10 lol. Is it possible to be paleo and still eat huge amounts of fruit?

Go ahead and eat them; just remain active and your carbohydrate tolerance will not be negatively impacted. – Travis Culp Nov 11 2011 at 22:36
And oranges might be better than some others because there's more glucose than fructose. And search through all the other questions tagged "fruit" for more ideas. We close frequently asked questions here, nothing personal. – Paul Nov 11 2011 at 22:40
