Hi

Can anybody suggest some paleocentric resources for athletes? Am aware of "Paleo Diet for Athletes" book - is it any good?

Be more important to know if you have a particular athletic endevore or are you just asking from an "athletic persons" perspective. There would be different answers associated with each. – JayJay Nov 12 2011 at 1:36
I've flipped through Paleo Diet for Athletes, and of course, there is a lot of good information there. The information will be a bit dated by now I would think. Your best bet is reading through this site and others, including Robb Wolf's and Mark Sisson's among many, many others. – Tom R. Nov 12 2011 at 2:58
Thanks guys. I'm a runner predominantly, with a distinctly non-paleo ultrarunning bent! Also just started bouldering/climbing. Bodyweight exercise a la Convict Conditioning, swimming, cycling, and I'm playing around with the MovNat concept at the mo. Would do Crossfit if there was a gym nearby..... – Reachy Nov 12 2011 at 7:41

I have read the Cyclist Training Bible by Joe Friel, and his diet approach is paleo based. While not a book - "That Paleo Guy" blog is fantastic. He is a cyclist and talks about food and training for riding.
