I do a strength-training session at the end of my IF (24 hours) and for max muscle gain/fat loss I was wondering what would be a recommended post WO meal?

One would think that by looking at "the dude" he would already have his post workout nutrition dialed in. This question seems rather basic for someone who looks to carry less than 10% bf with muscle. If ain't broke, don't fix it. Unless you're an unhealthy genetic freak who gets shredded just by walking around and eating twinkies. When I break my (typically 12-16 hour fast), I break it with 2 cans of sardines (in water) mixed with Kimchi. My workouts generally come 3 hours post-sardines and my PWO meal consists of a pastured chicken breast with a pound of wild caught fish (salmon, scallops, or shrimp on a rotating schedule) and an organic sweet potato. Simple and it works. |
