It doesn't take much to check if there has already been scientific inquiry into some of your speculation. If one wants to make jam from a LIRKO mouse, their best bet would be to sac 'em young about a half hour after a good feeding and make the jam from the blood. As a bonus, it will resemble jam more than anything one might be able to make from LIRKO urine.
