Theres no way I can afford to go to seminars or buy the books or really any of that. What am I supposed to do? I need a good structure of foods that I can eat without my stomach cramping and so far that seems like a vegetarian diet centered around smoothies, soups and the occasional sandwich (on sprouted bread).
While my stomach enjoys this diet, I know this isn't near what I should be eating...so what do I do? My stomach still cramps up when I eat meat, though it seems to accept fish like tilapia with minimal cramping, so thats nice.
And I've pretty much forced myself to eat a solid meal a day, but...I don't know what to do. I really don't.
Have you considered that the problem isn't the food, but rather your stomach/bowel bacteria? I had similar issues (not with meat, but with eating in general). I was prescribed Buscopan, which is an antispasmodic. In the meantime, I took bio-k fermented probiotics (rice, because I have issues with dairy). I healed my gut and no longer need either.
Would you be willing to try gelatin? It is high in protein and might be easier to digest. I recommend great Lake gelatin. Its how I get a higher level of protein since my digestion is so messed up right now.

It could be stomach acid. Stomach acid seems to go lower with age, and a shitty diet.

Will give you a bit more detail on taking HLC, I always take my HLC with my meal, however the guideline is the same. Start with 1 with a meal, if you feel nothing increase to 2 etc burning feeling decrease by 1.
