Okay, I don't get it. I've been 'paleo' for almost a year, granted I've had a couple slip-ups and such. I haven't really lost that much weight (gauging by how my clothes fit, because I don't have a scale).... but it wasn't until a couple weeks ago I noticed a substantial increase in my muscle mass. For the most part I 'look' the same ... but I can feel/slightly see an increase in my biceps, quads, abs, triceps, etc .... and I haven't been doing anything different ...
I eat meat, lots of eggs, lots fats (coconut oil, avocado, etc), and too many nuts ... I work as a decorative painter and at Lowes .. so I'm constantly climbing up and down scaffolds and ladders, lifting heavy things (sometimes upwards to 50 lbs), and am constantly walking around while at work/am on my feet .... I've been doing this for months...
Why the sudden change in muscle mass? What gives?
