I've got fluoridosis and some white spots on my tooth enamel (my incisors concern me the most) and have occasional tooth sensitivity. I've started chewing Trident Xtra Care gum, since it's the only gum on the market that has a patented ingredient called Recaldent. This CPP-ACP (casein phosphopeptides - amorphous calcium phosphate), along with casein, actually bonds to weakened enamel.

Quite a number of dentists and hygienists have used this MI Tooth Mousse on their patients and seen positive results, so I'm wondering if anyone here has an n=1 they'd like to share.

(Note: These aren't my teeth)

Thanks for posting this. Now I know what I have and the answers I'm getting from googling aren't good...sigh. – ImRotu Nov 25 2011 at 7:22
I am extremely suspicious of these photos, especially the top pair. Why? The gums on the upper teeth have clearly been restored, and there has to have been other work done. To claim it was the toothpaste that fixed this is disingenuous. – Stephen May 2 2012 at 17:01

I have indeed. I have a cavity on my upper left wisdom tooth. The tooth is small and mismatched and will be of no consequence if it has to be removed, so I don't worry too much. When I noticed the cavity, I began putting MI Paste on it with some regularity, and have used Dr. Collins' restoring toothpaste as well.

It used to hurt a little bit and was somewhat cold-sensitive, but the pain and most of the sensitivity is gone after a few months of this. The tooth seems to be in relatively good, useless shape, although the cavity is still noticeable.

I listen to Sean Croxton's radio shows. He's a paleo health geek who interviews authors of books and what-not in the alternative health field. Amazing interviews. He has covered two topics about oral health, which I will post there. They are really interesting. I'm going to listen to them again today, because I discovered some darkness in my bottom teeth - and I'm trying to avoid getting a root canal. Good luck on your end! Just thought I would share this with you.

It takes them a while to get into it, but once they do, it's really interesting.

I recommend ecodent toothpaste. I originally found out about this on another thread here:

http://paleohacks.com/questions/36731/please-contribute-your-comments-on-tooth-soap-and-help-me-decide-which-way-to-go#axzz1efPCLV8E

It has remineralising ingrediants along with no glycerin.

It is amazing, I have really sensitive teeth, getting my teeth cleaned was sheer torture, Sensitivity is gone completely now and a tiny cavity has healed. It also whitens and brightens.

It's about $4 on iherb and one bottle lasts around 6 months.

Unfortunately, any kind of toothpaste makes me break out in mouth ulcers and major gum inflammation. I thought it was SLS, or some other common ingredient, but even organic toothpaste triggers it. The only thing I've managed to find that keeps my mouth healthy and clean is baking soda. – Nemesis Nov 26 2011 at 1:56

Always apply 6ml of Chinkbutt solution, THEN brush. Finally end the routine with MI Paste, small pieces of 3M Super 77 Electrical Tape came be used to hold the paste against the tooth longer. The formula is 4 mi tues per gram of decal-losto hardness. Strict adjearance to this and regular use of MI Paste can and WILL restore a cavity even at final stages. It's a proven fact the dentists don't want the public knowing...
