So I've got an essay at university in for the day after tomorrow. I woke up at 1pm today and have not eaten anything up until now (4:30pm). I've had 1xespresso despite not being a caffeine addict, and this has greatly improved my concentration for work in the last couple of hours.
I would consider myself "keto-adapted" as I've been eating fairly strict low/mod-carb paleo the last month.
I think another reason I've been able to concentrate the last couple of hours is beacause I've not eaten anything. As soon as I eat something I usually just cannot concentrate until it's fully digested 2-3 hours later.
I'll be continuing to use caffeine to help my focus. But should I eat at all? Should I go get some rice? Eggs? Protein?
