Im surprised that I like this fish head stew recipe. I think I would have dry heaved thinking about eating a fish's head before. Super cheap too.
I also really dig bone broth. Just put in it a crock pot covered with filtered water and apple cider vinegar and let brew for about 12 to 24 hrs. Maybe add some herbs at the end and ready to go! Once again something that I would have definitely passed on pre-paleo.
Honestly, I used to hate everything about coconut. Then my mother introduced me to toasted coconut and I started making curries with coconut milk, and when I went paleo I started using coconut oil. I'd consider it a staple in my diet now, haha.
Sardines used to make me gag, now no problem. I'm not up to calves liver yet, but chicken livers -- yum. Couldn't do that before. I'm on the hunt for a heart now. I think I could handle that. We'll see if I ever get to intestines. Doesn't seem likely, but I'm feeling awfully adventurous these days!
