Hey!

So I am loving being paleo, but my biggest difficulty now is the weekend munchies when we have guests over or are going to parties. I have gotten in the habit of putting out raw almonds or bringing them where I go, but I end up eating way too many! Any recommendations for maybe dips for veggies or other paleo friendly munchies!

Cut-up fruit sprinkled with cinnamon is enjoyed by those I've offered it to.

Also, bite-sized pieces of sauteed beef with salt and pepper. To most of my guests it's a guilty pleasure and it also seems to make them consider my way of life may not be so awful after all (you know, living without bread and pasta.)

Anything you do with an avocado will make a good dip.

Kale chips, or indeed a whole bunch of vegetable based chips, with or without dip (((avocados))), make a tasty munchy sort of snack.

Less party-food I guess, but dried meat (however you can get it) is more snacky than a meal and possibly less problematic to over-eat than nuts. And biltong is simply awesome. With avocado.

I'm always on the go & require easy to cart around, eat anywhere/anytime foods.
I rely a lot on jerky (so many variations!), if you do dairy there's string cheese, mini-bites, prepkg'd mini-cottage cheese, fruit comes in its own package (some of it edible), crudite w/a dip of your choosing or none.
it's not totally paleo, but when i get the crunchy-munchies, it's popcorn w/real butter & salt. those are my quick go-to's...

A super easy one is salsa and pork rinds, instead of tortilla chips.

Paleo Deviled eggs, as someone mentioned, jerky, (which is my go-to snack), and if you're feeling indulgent, some high percentage (I try to stick with 85% and up) cacao dark chocolate!
