Whenever I eat braunschweiger my breath if offal(awful) for the next 20 hours even though I brush my teeth and eat and drink other things afterwards. It gives me the nastiest burps ever. Why is this and how do i avoid it? I don't strongly dislike the taste of the liver while eating it though I also don't really enjoy it but when it comes back later it's super nasty.

My guess is the seasoning in the sausage, not the liver itself. Try straight liver, and see if it has the same effect.
