Sometimes I feel hungry. I know I'm quite capable of simply carrying on and not letting it affect what and when I eat, for days if needs be. But occasionally I think the best thing for my body is to revel in the overload of a big kill and spend the afternoon doing nothing but digesting. Unfortunately, my previous experience always leads me to think of sickening quantities of processed carbs, chips, cookies, candy etc. and that's not what I want or even feel I could eat any more.
So what's your favourite feast? Something you can get hold of and prepare easily. I like to get a big steak and top it with bacon and eggs with some lettuce and spinach to soak it all up, but I'd like some other ideas to load up the plate.
