I realize that corn is not Paleo but I'm wondering if baby corn might be considered since the seeds are smaller and we're eating the whole thing.
Not sure on the baby corn. But, I can't think why heart of palm would be a problem; it's a plant food and not a grain or legume. Applesauce made without any added sugar wouldn't really be any different than eating an apple (minus the peel)--especially if you make it yourself. It seems like a lot of paleo followers limit fruit, so you might not want to eat mountains of it, but it would be fine in moderation.
