I've recently started the Leptin Reset because I like the idea of more energy and less hunger between meals.
For breakfast I've been eating two large eggs and a can of wild Alaskan salmon, which together have 66 grams of protein, ie well above the 50g level.
However, two hours later I am already feeling hungry again. What am I missing? Is my breakfast too lean and should I add some coconut oil? Or am I better off adding some carbs?
I don't want to lose weight, since my weight is normal.
I realize that maybe I am not even leptin resistant, but I've found that I'm more hungry on paleo, even though I eat more than before, and I would love to fix that.

if you are that hungry that earlier, than you are either did not eat enough or your body is still preferring glucose for energy.
would definitely add more fat to the meal, cook in a lot of butter, add some veggies and smother them in butter, or add some avocados, and of course there is always some room on the plate for bacon :)
another way to help to help get your body running on a fat metabolism is to do some low level activity (brisk walk, bike riding, hiking, etc).
running on fat for energy will keep you full longer, and your body will always have your body fat if it needs more, making it easier to not snack between meals. protein helps here too, but seems like you are getting enough in. on a sugar metabolism, you will find yourself always craving more and snacking every few hours.
How long have you been doing this? It usually takes a few days for the large breakfast to start working to reduce hunger. If you have been on it for awhile, try replacing some of the protein with real meat and add more fat. Lots of carbs aren't on the leptin reset, but you might be right in not needing to do a reset at all. Do you have any of the other markers of LS?
