Does anyone have a good recipe for a Paleo festive breakfast for the entire family - including those who do not necessarily follow a paleo diet? Tradition has been cinammon rolls or a french toast bake. . . Not very Paleo =/ Any suggestions that won't send my adult children to any open diner??

a crustless quiche/egg strata/casserole type thing. there are many recipes on the web for these featuring all sort of ingredients like bacon, sausage, spinach, zucchini, onion, ham, etc. etc. etc. super easy too-- prepare night before, keep in fridge overnight, and then bake it in the AM. |

Coconut flour pancakes are always a big hit with my non-paleo friends. Bacon is always good. A frittata is something that most people will enjoy. I know a lot of people will say no fruit...... but I think some cut up fruit would be nice too. |

Almond honey muffins, frittatas, big pan of scrambled eggs, oven full of cookie sheet bacon (great for bulk cooking!) and fruit salad! |

You can find recipe ideas online by combining Paleo, breakfast, and recipes in Google. Bookstores also have copies of... Everyday Paleo by Sarah Frogoso, Primal Blueprint Cookbook, a reader-inspired coconut Primal cookbook, and Robb Wolf's book. The Nom nom Paleo site and the Perfect Health Diet site also has some delicious food porn and recipes. Also don't forget marksdailyapple.com, and Paleohacks! The options are endless! Use google to your advantage. Breakfast staples? Frittatas, omelettes, hot nut cereals, coconut flour pancakes, like Joseph suggested, or even flourless pancakes (like flourless chocolate cake)...super dense, fatty, and warm. Bacon? Sausages? Butternut squash soup? Yogurt, fresh fruit, cheeses, and touches of honey are also acceptable. |

I'm planning Laura Dolson's almond meal pancakes with her triple berry sauce. Hubby has his own syrup that he will probably use instead of the sauce. I omit the sweetener from the pancakes and add a tsp of baking powder. And I may make some whipped cream to go on top--if there's any cream left after making ganache for truffles! |

we have a big feast (dinner), so breakfast needs to be small at our house. so i've done the egg scramble in a muffin tin - some w/bacon or ham, veg & cheese & fruit on the side. Dinner comes early, so just enough food to get the fire started, other than that, if they want something i dont have... there are restaurants nearby. |

My bf really loves when I stuff majool dates with sausage then wrap them in bacon. Bake until bacon reaches desired crispness and sausage is cooked through. So sweet and salty! |
