Don't IF - it kills my appetite and prevents me from eating very much, just because of the limited time window for eating.
Do go high fat - people recommend low carb and eating more fats for weight loss here sometimes. While eating fat does kill appetite and satiate quickly, I didn't lose as much adding fats to make it "fatty enough" as I did including safe starches and a little fruit. I guess you should experiment and figure out how your body processes things and then hack that. It's taken me a year to figure out that the high fat mentality works great for my well-being and maintenance weight but not for speedier weight loss.
Don't go too high protein - again, it kills appetite. I'm surprised by how little protein I need to maintain muscle mass and add a little more slowly - only about 80 grams (140lb female here). Eating much more beyond that is really helpful for weight loss (for appetite, metabolism, and repair) but not so much for preventing weight loss, since they displace carbs or fat (which are way easier for the body to use as fuel, keeping it from burning your precious tissue).
It all comes down to your body in the end. All of us have different bodily problems so we need different solutions to come to the same desire. Maybe maintenance for you includes IF (which is pretty healthy to practice) or something.
