I've been doing Paleo with my two kids for the past month and am in love with it! My husband finally decided to fully jump on board this week and is doing great, but is really struggling with drinking water. He was mainly drinking Dr. Pepper, Sonic drinks, and Sweet Tea before. He is currently downing a lot of unsweet tea. (It's really the only thing he is drinking).
Does anyone have any tips on ways to flavor water? (I'm thinking with some fruit and such). Specific recipes would be very helpful!

I like seltzer waster with a slash of lemon juice. I also like it with some frozen berries. Let the berries unthaw in the seltzer and you get a nice treat at the bottom of the glass.
I had this problem also. I found I didn't like tap water or "drinking" water but I enjoyed the taste of mountain spring water with a wedge of lime squeezed in.
I bought a Soda Stream so I could still have carbonation, and I found that my home-made carbonated water still tasted like good water vs. the store-bought carbonated water that doesn't.
After more time, I got into the hobby of making water kefir and I know others like kombucha and/or various teas so there are options out there.
But have him try the spring water for now.
Ashlee, has your husband had a nutrient panel done on his blood? Sodium and potassium may be low, in which case drinking plain water is a bad idea. Adding a dash of salt to his plain water may make it more palatable.
Here's a list of the options I've used to quench my thirst. I am often thirsty, and very rarely can I drink just plain water. The last item in the list is my favorite. Nothing quenches like a mountain stream.
I like to heat my water to very hot, but not boiling and then run it over ground Arabica beans. I don't know why, but it tastes so much better and gives me loads of energy, but it does look dark black, almost brown. :)
I also put bones in water and let it simmer for a very long time, then let it cool and remove the bones and drink the water.
Both are delicious.
Check out these links. The flavored Sweetleaf Stevias are phenomenal in plain water or sparkling water, or you can use the sweetener of your choice and the Capella drops. They really expand your options without using poisonous artificial sweeteners, caffeine, or empty calories from sugar.
I'm not wild about drinking plain water either, and see no need to with these harmless flavorings--which help me avoid turning to horrible diet sodas:
I have something of an addiction to squeezing lime or lemon into water--I seem to positively CRAVE tangy or sour flavors.
I've also found that many herbal teas make excellent flavorings, even for cold water, without adding unwanted sweeteners, carbs, caffeine, or other nasties. They are typically nothing more than herbs, flowers, and spices. I'm especially fond of any of the Celestial Seasonings "zinger" teas, which get their tangy taste and beautiful garnet color from hibiscus flowers.
If I'm in a hurry, I brew them hot and then pour over ice, or if I have more time, simply submerge the tea bags in cold water and wait an hour or two (or do a whole pitcher overnight). I just brewed a pitcher tonight! Herbal teas aren't as prone to over-extraction like true tea, so you can pretty much steep as long as you want.-
Pro-tip: if you live in an area with a lot of Latin grocers, you can buy dried hibiscus flowers very inexpensively--it's called "jamaica," and one usually finds it where they stock packaged dried chili peppers, spices, herbs, etc.
All these techniques add color, flavor, and sometimes even vitamins, and some are so fruity it's almost like drinking juice, but without the sugar. The biggest challenge is giving up the idea that beverages should be sweet. I'm not willing to use artificial sweeteners. It really didn't take long for that urge to disappear.
Believe it or not, drinking pure water will make you want to drink pure water. Just do it a couple days and bingo, its what you will want. Squeeze a lemon or lime in it like nance said if you want, but teach your body to like it unadulterated.
Oh, my hair salon has cucumber water, it's SO refreshing in summer.
I like a litre bottle, a splash of pure cranberry (no sugar added, can be had at Trader Joes, and likely any health food co-op sort of store), and tap water, and a packet of stevia. YUM!
I also like sparkling water. I gave up soda in my early twenties, because it made my intestines very unhappy. A few years ago, I discovered sparkling water doesn't bloat me, so sometimes I like that.
Just plain is what I drink the most though.
