Seen a lot of questions on here asking if there are any Paleo's in INSERT CITY, so I thought I would see if there are any other Paleo's in Singapore. I am an Aussie expat in Singapore and it would be great to meet some other Paleo's here! I feel like I'm the only one here!! :)

I have not found any palaeo's in Singapore yet but I have met some people with Celiac disease so their diet is close to palaeo. They do not eat grains but seem to include soy in their diet. I only include fermented soy products here such as tempeh. Meat is quite expensive in Singapore, not easy being palaeo here. |

Well I'm heading out with a group of friends in May this year for a 3-week vacation if that counts^^ I'm worried (as always) when leaving my own dwelling what I'll manage to live on overseas. Bags full of macademias, and box fulls of eggs are usually the answer. Luckily, we're staying with a friend who lives over there, so thank god I'll have access to a fridge XD |

Hi guys, My friends and I follow the Paleo/Primal diet. It can be expensive eating Paleo or Primal in Asia but there are ways around where you can buy the best grassed meat at a reasonable price, As a matter of fact, we are starting a bakery....gluten/grain/dairy free, no sugar added and Paleo/Primal friendly. Drop me a line, if you are keen to get in touch with other Paleo foodies : ) My email is Natures.Bakes@gmail.com P |

There must be more paleo's in SG! Main issue i have in SG is my distrust of food which orginates in China etc, and alot of hawker food is fried(in something!)..but you can find alot of NZ/Aussie foods here. I found frozen Aussie lamb at good prices recently, its awesome too!! |

Hi all, I'm trying to put together a low-tech site to help us Paleo folks living in Singapore navigate the scene. If you stumble across any info that could be useful to the broader community, please let me know! Here's the paleo portion of my blog where I've posted a few spots to find paleo delights: http://neverevereven.weebly.com/paleo-in-singapore.html Thanks! DP |

I'm primal in Singapore. The cost of food here is crazy. I do most of my shopping at Super nature and Mmmm. Lots of grass fed meat and dairy. I'm yet to find good quality organ meats here. Can somebody recommend some stores? |

Me!! Sort of. I'm not very strict though. My meat isn't grass-fed or organic and I eat white rice on occasion and have a lot more carbs than most Paleo people, but I still don't take most grains/beans/legumes/soy/dairy. |

Hi, I've been following paleo for a couple of months now, although I do still eat a small amount of dairy, and I make my own yoghurt using organic whole milk. And I eat a small amount of rice. I do find it quite difficult in Singapore, especially with the meat and knowing where it's from etc. and it can get expensive but once you know what is good, and how to use certain ingredients in recipes it gets easier and it's possible to do even on a budget. |

Have to agree with Tony. All the hawker food is very suspicious because of the unknown stuff that go into the sauce. The only way to eat paleo is to cook at home or eat more expensive food outside. I started a blog too to talk about paleo living in Singapore at Do check it out and please share your expertise if you're living in Singapore! Maybe we can create a bigger community with time! |

Please do not put an apostrophe between Paleo and S. Paleos (if you were to take Paleo, as a single noun of a human who eats Paleo, and make it plural) in Singapore would be perfectly fine. :) The apostrophe implies ownership, ownership of what though? Nothing, you're not referring to anything, so no need for the apostrophe. Normally Paleo would be used as an adjective when describing someone, as in, "Are there people in Singapore who eat Paleo?" Have a nice day. I'm high, so I do apologize if this seems like I'm an asshole, in reality I kind of am, but I want you to use the right thing, and know the right thing. Cheers, Jared |
