FYI I just went ahead and became a 6-month member of Cronometer Gold and one of the new features is an Omega 6/3 ratio calculator, and a Zinc/Copper ratio calculator... SWEET. Now if the USDA and CRDB would start including Omega breakdowns on Grassfed meat... :-(

Username is GNUJoshua btw... feel free to be my cronometer friend...

I would, but I'm not yet on Cron-o-meter gold. I am waiting until I've used it over 3mos to get the full benefit (reporting only goes out a few weeks with standard). I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Cool, maybe then :) – Olivia Jan 9 2012 at 23:44

I just started using the free cron-o-meter. I love being able to track my macronutrient ratio! But looks like you have to be a gold member to have friends :-(

Like Joshua, I think I'll wait awhile before deciding on that.

Speaking of ratios... what do you all have yours set at? I'm currently trying 20% carb, 25% protein, 55% fat. – Maria Jan 17 2012 at 14:48
35%C, 20%P, 45%F, as an experiment. Trying to see if I can increase my basal metabolic rate by eating more carbs. Used to be more like 20%/25%/55% - just like you. – Sigrid Jan 17 2012 at 18:29
I recently changed my to 40/15/45 P/C/F. I found I wasn't getting enough vitamins without bumping up the carbs (veggies) and since I'm in the gym again after a 6-month hiatus, I'm bumping up the protein. – Joshua Jan 17 2012 at 19:00

Can someone with the gold membership post an example of the data export? I'm curious what it looks like to see if its worth upgrading to gold.

It's a series of spreadsheets with full nutritional data and details of all the foods you have eaten, all the biometric data, exercise data and notes. Days on the left, other info across the spreadsheet – Sigrid Jan 22 2012 at 0:36
