Question: Last couple days, I've been having frozen blueberries and coconut butter, together for a dessert-ish item. Everytime I do this, the next morning, I have a rapid onset of a bowel movement, one that cleans me out better than fermented foods (since the majority of stool is bacteria.) What gives?

Fat can put you on the toilet, so the first suggestion is drop back a little on how much coconut butter you are using, if you want to moderate the effect. It seems to me that everyone has a different tolerance. I hear of people eating coconut oil like candy; I can't do that. Mysteriously, though I can eat a fair amount of butter with no problem, as long as I have it with other food. |

Coconut can give some people the runs. Though usually it's coconut milk or water you may be having a reaction to it. My wife chugged a cocoloco and was on the toilet for the rest of the night. |
