I got some soysprouts from my local ASIAN vendor. I think here its even organic. Do soysprout have a different effect like soy in gerneral?

maybe i should lacto ferment them to get the evil side effects from soy away?

Actually im quite cool. And think its just fine. If i eat them occasionally.

How do animals who eat soysprouts in the wild digest them. Do they have a different stomache?

Are they good in moderation, as in provide something unique and high in nutrition you cannot get elsewhere? No. Are they bad in moderation, as in causing negative health consequences? Not likely. If you enjoy them, eat them occasionally. I, however, wouldn't make them a staple in my diet. Traditional Asian cultures don't eat soy as a major staple in their diets either (despite what vegans will tell you!)

Fermenting would I think definitely improve things. I don't think the danger is the same as with processed soy products in any case. I'm sure they're not going to kill you from occasional consumption.

The sprouts need to be fully cooked. I don't eat them.

I would never eat soy sprouts myself. And I get a bad picture of a slimy dissolved mess when I imagine what might happen if you ferment them.

And I am not sure any wild animal sprouts soy beans.

But quite a few critters will go along and eat every freshly sprouted bean from your garden. – Matt Jan 14 2012 at 16:50
