I have always craved fruit - so please do not think it started when I went Paleo. What changed with Paleo though it is that I have SPECIFIC fruit cravings.
Like, for example, if I had sugar cravings I would just grab something sweet, like a chocolate bar or anything with sugar in it, right? But my fruit cravings are very specific.
I don't want oranges - I would not even touch them if I had any.
At first I was craving grapes. And not just any grapes, but one kind only. I would not eat any other fruit, just those grapes. I lasted like two to three weeks.
Then I was craving for persimmons. I had grapes in the house and I no longer was craving them. I only wanted persimmons. It lasted for another month or so. I would eat no other fruits, but persimmons only.
Now it is pomegranates, but not just regular pomegranates, but a special kind (seedless). This is my second week being addicted to pomegranates.
What is wrong with me?
Has anyone experienced this? Please help - I feel as if I am going nuts.
