I am a desperate workaholic and have been resorting to preparing one meal a day in the microwave. The other two meals tend to be Chipotle, and canned red salmon and raw carrots/sweet potatoes, plus a couple of heavy creamy coffees:
6-8 pastured eggs
a handful of hand-ripped scallions
a handful of hand-ripped kale
no, I don't count the hand-ripping as HIIT.
I toss that all in a glass bowl and do several rounds of 70% power 1:15 "cookings," sprinkling a little (gasp) sea salt in the process. It's good... sorta.
Any microwave paleo hacks?
Personally, the BirdsEye SteamFresh vegetables are my favorite "hack." Combine a bag of those with two cans of tuna, or leftover chicken, or some other good protein...fastest way to get some good (hot) veggies in a fast meal.
I get a bowl. On top I put some kinda not too carby spaghetti sauce topped with some kinda cheese, usually provolone, swiss, or parmesan. On the bottom can go pieces of chicken, nothing, salami, lowcarb bread, tortilla, more cheese, or whatever you can think of that might be good with tomatolike sauce. Or you can skip the sauce and just put something covered in cheese. Cover with paper towel to prevent splatter, and nuke in the micro. Tastes like pizza and very quick to make. Basic premise, almost everything tastes good with melted cheese on it.
Not a microwave fan. Precook and eat cold or find another heating method, toaster oven?
From nutrient loss to radiation to chemical leeching. It's no surprise Russia banned them. I try to avoid them the best I can
